If you thought fiber is needed only for diabetics, weight-watchers, etc., you are mistaken. Fiber is important for everybody, especially young children, because it helps in muscle building, digestion and blood circulation. So, make sure you include foods like oats, bulgur wheat, vegetables, etc. in your kids’ diet, in the form of tasty recipes like High Fibre Chilas, and Apple and Oats Milkshake.

How to Calculate Dietary Fibre for Children?

Age of the child + 5g is recommended for children older than 3 years. This formula is also easier to remember than other methods by weight or energy level.
