How to create a cookbook?
Click on the icon “My Cookbook” on top of the page. Login using your email id and password and get access to your cookbooks.

How many cookbooks can a member at tarladalal.com make?
A regular Member is entitled to 5 cookbooks, a Silver member gets 20 cookbooks whereas a Gold member has the privilege of unlimited cookbooks.

How to add recipes to my cookbook?
To add recipes to your cookbook, click on the icon “Add to my cookbook” on the left panel of any recipe page and choose the cookbook in which you would like to add the recipe to.
Alternatively, click on the icon “Add to my cookbook” on right side of the recipe. Choose the cookbook in which you would like to add the recipe to.

How to share a cookbook with somebody?
You need to login as a member, click on “My cookbook” on the top of the page and click on the cookbook you want to share. Click the icon “Email this cookbook to a friend” on the right side and type in his / her email id and press “Submit” icon.

What is “My private recipes” in the cookbooks?
“My private recipes” is a cookbook where in you can save your recipes which you don’t want to share with others. This privilege is available to Gold and Silver Members only.

Is it possible to give different names to cookbooks?
Definitely, you can go the main page of cookbook and click on the icon “rename” in the cookbook you want to change the name

How to add photos to my cookbook?
By default, our system will look at the recipes in your cookbook and if they have an image, then that will become your image of the cookbook. If there is no image, you will have the option to Add a Photo located within the cookbook. Its that simple. Always have a picture on your cookbook to make it look good.

Can I add some additional notes to my cookbook? If yes, how?
Yes sure. Go to the cookbook you want to add a note, click on the icon “Add a private note to your cookbook” on the right side of the cookbook and feel free to add information. Always add a note as that suggests your thoughts about the cookbook you are creating.

Is it possible to do search amongst a data of recipes from my cookbook?
Yes, you can search for a particular recipe or ingredient in your cookbooks. Choose the cookbook you want to search a recipe in. Use the search box next to the image of the cookbook for search. If you want to search a recipe, type in the name of the recipe in the search box and press “go”.
