How do I post a recipe?
Click on the icon “Post a recipe” on the top panel of any page, login using your email id and password and follow the simple rules. It's fast and easy. Click here to post a recipe.

Can I copy and paste a recipe from any of my other files in post a recipe section?
Yes, definitely. But you will have to enter the preparation time, cooking time, serving size, ingredients and procedure into relevant boxes only. Also remember to write each ingredient on a new line. For the procedure, again write each step on a new line without numbering them. The numbers will automatically added by us. Also remember to write a explanation of what the recipe is about so other members can view your recipe and try it. The more details you provide, the better feedback you receive from food lovers.

How do I copy the recipe I post to my cookbook?
After you have posted a recipe, tick the icon “Add this recipe to my cookbook” and choose the cookbook in which you want to add your recipe.

How to make my recipe visible to more and more people?
After posting a recipe, add your recipe to a relevant category from those shown on that page. You can add your recipe to maximum of 6 categories for best visibility by the members. Your recipe will also show up on search results. To get your recipe viewed by lots of members, it is recommended that you post an image for the recipe and also write a good by line explaining what the recipe is about.

How do I share my recipe posted on tarladalal.com with my friends?
Open the recipe you want to share with your friend. On the left panel of the recipe page, click on the icon “Email recipe to friend”, enter his / her email id and click the “Submit” button.
