Reviewed August 17, 2015by n_katira

Oh bits of calcium rich pieces is what I would name this recipe....My kiddo doesn''t like eating til and I always try to add it in her diet in some or the other way. But she truly adores this recipe... But now I dont need to do it anymore...I just pack a few pieces of this chikki daily in her dabba..... Superb!!

Digestive Soda

A great recipe to overcome tummy ache... For those who cannot have only soda, the black pepper and cumin seeds adds flavour and aid in digestion as well. LEmn jucie gives that slight sourness to perk it up further.

Protein Parathas

Nice and attractive to look!! The protein comes from the paneer. The taste of spring onion dominates in these parathas, so even non paneer lovers can rely on this recipe to build up their protein stores.

Rajma Salad ( Know Your Dals and Pulses )

Oh wow! all Mexican ingredients is a bowl. This tastes amazing. Salsa in this recipe is also uncooked so it saves on cooking time. The nacho chips as garnish gives it an additional touch.

Broccoli and milk, two good sources of calcium in one soup... Very simple to cook. Quite filling with a bowl of salad.

Broccoli Broth ( Pregnancy Recipe)

I love broccoli be it in pasta, salad or soup. And this soup is also one my favourites. Simple to make and pepped up with just salt and pepper. The milk gives the creaminess without the use of cream so all the more healthy.

Pasta Salad

The image of the recipe was too tempting for me to give it a try... Looks so colourful and it is as flavourful also. Perfectly cooked whole wheat pasta with crunchy veggies and zero oil dressing is the highlight of this recipe. Loved it!!

Khatta Urad Dal
Reviewed August 07, 2015by n_katira

The first feel of the recipe was it will be too simple, but it turned out to be full of flavours with the use of minimal ingredients. The urad dal is not cooked till mushy here which gives it a very good mouth feel. I served it with bhakhris.

Low- Cal Mayonnaise

Wow low cal mayonnaise - the thought itself is enough to drool. I was very happy to use this low cal mayo to whip a healthy salad. But can we try the same recipe using brown bread?

Spicy Paneer On Toast

Low fat paneer and brown bread - my 2 favourites in one snack, wow a superb combo...Moreover it''s nice to know the snack is just at 107 calories and can be added to a diabetic menu occasionally. My father who is a diabetic enjoyed it and so did the other family members.
