This recipe has a very good selection of ingredients for diabetics. My fathers dietitian has asked to include chana dal flour, onions and methi in his diet to keep high blood glucose level under control. The onions give a very good mouthfeel. Best served off the tava with a healthy subzi.

Have always hear that soonth helps to relieve stomach... my mom tried this recipe and worked wonderfully!! Jaggery gives that necessary sweetness so it is a great home remedy.

Too good!! Just a perfect blend of all ingredients including the spices... the onions give a very good mouthfeel and taste... i can enjoy them without the chutney also whether its for snack or a light dinner.. wlll definitely make it often now.

Green, dals and other veggies...all in one subzi... this is what I was looking for, to have a recipe which has many nutrients in one to fulfill my daily needs. The masalas in this recipe are also not very strong, they can be easily handled during pregnancy. I enjoy this subzi with hot phulkas at least once a week. Thanks for this recipe...
