Palak Chana Pulao

I didn''t have chana, so I substituted it with mixed sprouts which is more healthy. Perfect combination of masalas to yield a healthier zero oil rice delicacy.

Too good... The USP of this recipe is that it is zero oil and yet is restaurant style in looks and flavour... Recommended this recipe to 5 of my other friends.

Muskmelon, Orange and Coconut Drink

Nice thickness of muskmelon and slight tanginess of oranges with the addition of coconut water to give the perfect juice consistency. I made it with sugar and loved it...

Pav Bhaji Khakhra, Zero Oil
Reviewed June 06, 2016by n_katira

True as the recipe mentions it did not taste like the pav bhaji khakhra available in the market, but I guess that''s because these are devoid of oil and ghee... But I liked these khakhras for my evening snack to munch on something flavourful while avoiding calorie laden chips.

Moong Sprouts Panki
Reviewed June 06, 2016by n_katira

I have always had rice panki as that is the famous in Gujarati cuisine. I was very excited while making this recipe using multi-nutrient sprouts and fibre rich oats. I salute your culinary sense of combining ingredients to make tasty delicacies which are healthy.

Kothimbir Vadi, Zero Oil Maharashtrian Kothimbir Vadi Recipe
Reviewed June 06, 2016by n_katira

I have often tasted the deep-fried version of this snack at a friend of mine who is Maharashtrian as they make it quite often. While browsing I came across this zero oil version and was very happy with the taste and flavours of this recipe too. Just that it needs to be served immediately after steaming.

Vegetable and Paneer On Skewer

Dainty starter with flavour brimming marinade, these skewers are always finished within minutes every time I make them... your recipe of low fat paneer (http://www.tarladalal.com/Low-Fat-Paneer-1323r) is also just perfect.

Herbed Jowar Strips with Spicy Orange Salsa
Reviewed June 06, 2016by n_katira

Sounded very exciting so I served this for a kitty party and all my friends were surprised that this is absolutely healthy with herbed strips baked and the salsa devoid of any high fat ingredient... I was really applauded by one and all and the credit for that goes to you Tarlaji, tx...

Barley Idli

Too good and absolutely healthy with the use of fibre rich barley and no oil at all. These idlis don''t fluff like regular idlis but they taste fab!!

Pineapple Cucumber Salad ( Fibre Rich Salad)
Reviewed June 06, 2016by n_katira

Fruit and veggie combo with varied flavours from honey, lemon juice and roasted chana dal perked up with the additional flavour of coriander.. what I liked about this recipe is there is no separate dressing to prepare... it''s an all-in-one recipe tossed well.

Cabbage and Grapes Salad in A Basil Curd Dressing
Reviewed June 06, 2016by n_katira

Cabbage and cucumber - the two ingredients used in this recipe are quite bland in flavour but the dressing with hints of basil and lemon rind perks it up very well. And green grapes add their light sweet taste to the salad. I use black grapes when is season to get contrast of colours.

Gado Gado Salad
Reviewed June 06, 2016by n_katira

Use of peanut sauce in salads is quite unusual as a dressing. I use veggies handy in my kitchen and toss in the dressing to make a healthy salad... tx for teaching me a different kind of recipe..
