Ingredients

For The Custard Sauce
1 cup milk
4 tsp sugar
4 tsp custard powder
a few drops of vanilla essence

Other Ingredients
1/2 cup coarsely crushed digestive biscuits
1 1/2 cups chilled mixed fruit cubes (strawberry , black grapes , papaya and apple)
1/2 cup chopped strawberry jelly
1 tbsp almond (badam) slivers
Method

For the custard sauce

    For the custard sauce
  1. Combine the custard powder and 1 tbsp milk in a small bowl, mix well and keep aside.
  2. Boil the remaining milk in a deep non-stick pan, add the sugar, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the custard powder – milk mixture, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute, while stirring occasionally. Keep aside to cool completely.
  4. Once cooled, add the vanilla essence and mix well and refrigerate for atleast 30 minutes.

  1. Divide the custard sauce into 2 equal portions and keep aside.
  2. Put ¼ cup of crushed digestive biscuits in a tall serving glass.
  3. Add ¾ cup of mixed fruits evenly over it.
  4. Pour a portion of the prepared custard sauce evenly over it.
  5. Finally put ¼ cup of jelly over it and sprinkle ½ tbsp of almond slivers.
  6. Repeat steps 2 to 5 to make 1 more glass.
  7. Serve immediately

Nice healthy low fat dessert. Custard, crushed biscuits and chilled fruits in a tall glass is a sure hit.
