Sarson ka Saag, Punjabi Sarson Ka Saag Recipe
Reviewed January 12, 2016by n_katira

Truly a North Indian in a restaurant style. It''s a little on a spicier side, but that''s how this subzi is suppose to taste. I added the dhania-jeera powder which is optional here, and it tasted fab. The video also has some nice pointers on how to maintain bright green colour of subzi.

Moong Dal Idlis
Reviewed January 12, 2016by n_katira

Without the use of any soda-bi-carb, just with regular fermenting the idlis had turned out very good. Tasted good with sambhar when served hot. Henceforth I will serve only these healthy moong dal idlis to my father who is a diabetic. tx for the recipe.

Healthy Wheat Dosa is what my daughter relates with this recipe. I had tried this recipe for my father-in-law, who is a diabetic, but my daughter enjoyed it more. I make this on Sunday mornings at least once a month as this doesn''''t call for any fermentation. try it out....

With this recipe I learnt that sandesh can be made in minutes, Just set it for sometime and then its ready to be enjoyed. Rose essence and sherbet gives a very nice pink colour to the sandesh which makes it tempting.

Use of readymade paneer to make this Bengali sweet is what made me excited to cook this sweet. And it turned out too good. My guests loved it and once again I gained applause for making a Tarla Dalal recipe. Tx.

Methi Crispies

Baked in just 15 minutes, these crispies are a very healthy choice for diabetics to snack on. The wheat and oats flour lend their fibre which along with fenugreek is considered to control blood sugar levels. Adding carom seeds can be personal choice then.

Loved these Mexican style parathas perked up with oregano and chilli flakes with some coloured capsicum. Moreover they taste great when cooked in minimal oil also. They are so yummy that when served off the tava, it doesn''t require any accompaniment.

I liked the combo of muskmelon with grapes but I avoided the use of coriander... It''s a good way to add some vitamin C to diet.. have it early in the morning and build your immunity.
