For tomato garlic chutney- To make tomato garlic chutney, heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the onions and sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Add the garlic, mix well and sauté on a medium flame for a few seconds.
- Add the kashmiri red chillies, tomatoes and a little water and cook on a medium flame for 8 to 10 minutes, while stirring occasionally. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
- Add the salt, tomato ketchup, mix well and sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Remove from the flame and allow it to cool completely.
- Add the spring onion greens and coriander, mix well and serve immediately.

Add salt to taste. We added 1/4 tsp salt.

Add 1 tbsp tomato ketchup. This gives colour and a bit of sweetness to the chutney.
