Ingredients
Main Ingredients
1 cup custard apple (sitaphal) pulp
1/2 cup rice (chawal) , soaked for 2 hours and drained
1/2 cup chilled full-fat milk
3 1/2 cups full-fat milk
5 tbsp sugar
For The Garnish
Method
- Combine the rice with ½ cup of cold milk and blend in a mixer to a coarse mixture.
 - Combine the rice mixture, remaining 3½ cups of milk and sugar in a deep non-stick pan, mix well and
 - Cook on a medium flame for 5 minutes, while scrapping the sides of the pan and stirring continuously.
 - Simmer for another 10 minutes or till the mixture thickens and the rice is cooked, while stirring occasionally.
 - Cool completely, add the custard apple pulp and mix well.
 - Refrigerate for 2 hours and serve chilled garnished with cardamom powder.

When Sitaphal is in season this is always made at home and is enjoyed by all, the sweetness is just perfect and the taste is delicious.
