For dalia kheer- To make dalia kheer recipe, heat 1 tsp ghee in a pressure cooker, add the nuts and saute for a minute.
- Remove in a plate and keep aside.
- Heat the remaining ghee and add dalia. Saute on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring continuously.
- Add 1 cup water and 1 cup milk. Mix well and pressure cook for 2 whistles.
- Allow the steam to escape and then open the lid.
- Add sugar, remaining 1 cup milk, cardamom powder and nuts.
- Mix well and cook on medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
