Bengali Khichdi ( Iron Rich Recipe)
Reviewed July 15, 2014by loves cooking

I am surprised that even a normal khichdi can be a good source of iron. The khichdi tastes good and the assortment of vegetables makes this khichdi a complete meal.

Lentil Dill Fry

Dill may have a little strong flavour but the presence of dal mellows down the flavour of dill. It gives an international flavour to the indian dal.

Waldorf Open Sandwich
Reviewed July 08, 2014by loves cooking

It's a delicious, simple and healthy sandwich. The recipe says toasted bread but might also taste good on an untoasted bread. The topping is light, tasty and fresh.

Hariyali Cheese Subzi
Reviewed July 08, 2014by loves cooking

It's a quick recipe. Though there is a little aftertaste of the spinach it still has a good overall taste and is healthy. Add more cheese if you like it cheesy. otherwise the taste is good.

Soya Kofta Curry
Reviewed July 08, 2014by loves cooking

Soya granules have a distinct taste that i generally don't like but in these koftas that taste has magically vanished. The gravy is delicious and the taste of mint adds a unique freshness to the otherwise traditional punjabi gravy. Since there is soya in the koftas it also up's the protein quotient of the dish.

Kadhi ( Gujarati Recipe)
Reviewed July 04, 2014by loves cooking

It's a perfect kadhi recipe. Tastes just like how you get in restaurants. Perfect combination of sweet and sour.

Khatte Aloo

Unusual combination of cherry tomatoes and baby potatoes, amchur gives that tangy flavour. The creamy gravy formed from curd compliments the crispy potatoes.

Masala Bhatura
Reviewed July 04, 2014by loves cooking

Very tasty bhaturas!!! The presence of masala adds a new dimension to the ordinary bhaturas. Can be had plain also.

Chawli Bhaji ( Acidity Recipe)
Reviewed July 04, 2014by loves cooking

It has a little bitter aftertaste but that's just because of the amaranth leaves which are inherently bitter naturally. Otherwise it's a very healthy recipe. Once you try it you will definitely acquire a taste for it.

Beetroot Chutney
Reviewed July 04, 2014by loves cooking

It's an unusual chutney. Coconut compliments the flavour of beetroot.

Spicy Chole
Reviewed July 04, 2014by loves cooking

On tasting it its difficult to realise that it's a jain recipe and no onion and garlic is used. It's spicy and tangy. Tastes perfect with a roti or bhatura.

Sesame Fingers ( Chinese Cooking )

It's a sinful deep-fried starter, but it's ideal for parties because its easy to make and tastes yummmmm. Enjoy it with ketchup.

It's true to it name. very quick to make. Not too sweet or too bland. Perfect recipe for times when you don't have the time to make an elaborate dessert.
