While the benefits of apple are well-known, dragon fruit too is a treasure trove of nutrients especially vitamin C and antioxidants.

Loaded with iron and protein , almond milk is great for endurance athletes. It’s a good milk substitute for lactose intolerant folks. If you want the smoothie sweeter add half a banana to it.

1/4 cup apple cubes , unpeeled
3/4 cup white dragon fruit cubes
3/4 cup almond milk
1 tsp maple syrup

    Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a mixer.
  2. Blend till smooth.
  3. Refrigerate for atleast 1 hour and serve chilled.

Hi Reema, can we use toned milk instead almond milk

Tarla Dalal    Hello Poornima, Since this a vegan smoothie recipe and a lactose-free variant we have used almond milk. Feel free to use normal milk if you are making for a non-vegan, lactose tolerant person.

Wow.. this combination of fruits is really very interesting.. The flavour is nice and mild.. enjoyed this smoothie.. for my breakfast. thank you for the recipe..
