Some of these foods like ildi, paratha etc stay fresh for 5 to 6 hours, while food items like thepla and pickle stay fresh for a day. On the other hand, the dry food items can stary fresh for more than a day.

Idlis and tomato chutney prepared without adding any water is one of the best dish to carry along during travel. Idli is a very popular South Indian breakfast which is also a favourite Mumbai Street Food.
