Creamy Caramel Chocolate Fondue

This caramel chocolate fondue recipe is ideal as the perfect end to a romantic dinner.It can also make your family dinner more fun for the kids.
Method- In a pan combine the sugar and water and cook over medium high heat until the sugar is dissolved. Increase the heat to high and continue to cook until the sugar is a medium-dark amber color; stirring continuously.
- Remove from the heat and add butter. Slowly add the heavy cream, the mixture will splatter and bubble up. Swirl the pan until the sauce is smooth and the heavy cream is thoroughly combined. Remove from the heat and add the nuts.
- At the same time melt the chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave for a 1-2 minutes on high (stirring every 30 sec). Stir in the caramel sauce and milk until blended and smooth.
- Let cool for 15 to 20 minutes, then transfer to a fondue pot over a low flame and serve warm, with dipping items of your choice.
