Recipe Description for Beans Poriyal
- To make {span class="bold1"}beans poriyal{/span}, heat the oil in a kadhai and add the mustard seeds.
- When the seeds crackle, add urad dal, chana dal, pandi chili, green chillies, asafoetida, onions and sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring continuously.
- Add the french beans, salt and ¼ cup of water, mix well and cover and cook on a medium flame for 8 to 10 minutes till they are cooked.
- Add the curry leaves, coconut, mix gently and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Serve {span class="bold1"}beans poriyal{/span} hot.
