Liked the Recipe for Jowar-Bajra-Spring Onion. Would certainly like to try it out but have a few questions. 1. Can the use of Oil be avoided? 2. Can the Recipe be used to make Chilas instead.

Tarla Dalal    Yes, you can avoid the use of oil, but it will be a bit dry. So serve immediately. To make pancakes, do not knead into a dough. In the same bowl of ingredients, add enough water to make a thick batter of dropping consistency and make the pancakes on the tava.
