2 tsp olive oil
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)

1 tsp finely chopped green chillies

  2. Put the yellow moong dal in water and wash it. You can see the dirt. This will require you to change the water 2 to 3 times till you get clean water.

Tarla Dalal    Hi Gary, The time and number of whistles depend upon your pressure cooker (the size), on the flame and also, upon the method of cooking i.e using a vessel and then cooking or directly adding to a pressure cooker.
