Palak bread pakora is made of 2 cups fresh bread crumbs, 2 cups finely chopped spinach (palak) , washed, 1 1/2 cups besan (bengal gram flour), 1/4 cup finely chopped onions, 1 tsp chilli powder, 2 tsp finely chopped green chillies, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi), salt to taste and oil for deep frying.

To make fresh bread crumbs, place the bread slices on a clean, dry surface. Remove the brown crust of the bread slices carefully with a knife and discard the crusts.

Tear the bread slices with your hands. The process of grinding becomes easy if you tear the bread slices.

Add the bread slices to a mixer jar.

Now, blend the slices till the bread completely breaks down and results in small crumbs. These are fresh bread crumbs. 10 to 12 big bread slices will approx. give 2 cups of fresh bread crumbs.
