Hi I want to make this recipe. But it''s mentioned that Alphonso mangoes must be used. I have lots of mangoes from my garden,but they are different variety,probably Himsagar,as they have a nice aroma and are very dark orange inside. Not very fibrous too. Can i use those instead of Alphonso?

In one of your comments, u have mentioned that this recipe has made the use of condensed milk. However, in your ingredients and recipe mentioned above, condensed milk is not at all mentioned. Pls rectify this anomaly. Is condensed milk required in the recipe or not?

Tarla Dalal    Hi Anshu, Cornflour is used to thicken the milk which gives a nice consistency to the kulfi. Try using that only.

Tarla Dalal    Hi, Make sure yo are using full fat milk.. this is very important for the recipe.. and also once out from the freezer, wait for 5 minutes alteast.. and then enjoy the kulfi.
