Ingredients


For Cheese Onion Rings
2 cups thick onion rings
24 mozzarella cheese strips
bread crumbs for coating
oil for deep frying

To Be Mixed Into A Slurry
1/2 cup plain flour (maida)
1/4 cup cornflour
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1 tsp garlic (lehsun) powder
1 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
1 tsp dried oregano
salt and to taste

Method

For cheese onion rings
  1. To make {span class="bold1"}cheesy onion rings{/span}, cut slightly thick rings of onion.
  2. Separate each ring and place mozzarella cheese slice between 2 onion rings.
  3. Coat each prepared onion ring in plain flour slurry.
  4. Coat with breadcrumbs, again coat them in the slurry and again in the breadcrumbs.
  5. Repeats steps to make remaining onion rings.
  6. Heat oil in a deep pan, deep fry few onion rings at a time till golden brown in colour.
  7. Drain on an absorbent paper.
  8. Serve {span class="bold1"}cheesy onion rings{/span} hot with dip of your choice.
