For banana salad- For the dressing, combine the curds, mint leaves (pudina), honey, green chillies, salt and pepper in a bowl, mix well and keep aside.
- Combine the bananas, lemon juice, cucumber, dill leaves, crushed peanuts and salt.
- Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes. Any longer and the banana will loose colour.
- Just before serving add the prepared dressing and toss well.

what is banana salad made of ? Indian banana mint salad is made from 2 cups roughly chopped bananas, , whisked, 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh mint leaves (phudina), a few drops lemon juice, 1/2 cup peeled and roughly chopped cucumber, 1/2 tbsp finely chopped dill leaves, 1 tbsp roasted and coarsely crushed peanuts with a dressing of 3/4 cup fresh curds (dahi), fresh mint leaves (phudina), salt and peper to taste and 2 tsp sugar. Garnish of 1 tbsp roasted and coarsely crushed peanuts, 1/2 tbsp finely chopped dill leaves and 1/2 tsp finely chopped green chillies. See below image of list of ingredients for banana salad.

In a bowl put 3/4 cup fresh curds (dahi) , whisked.

Add 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh mint leaves (phudina).

Add salt to taste.

Add freshly ground black pepper to taste.

Add 2 tsp sugar.

Keep aside. Curd mint dressing.
