Ingredients


For Tahini Dip
1 cup thick fresh curd (dahi) , whisked

For The Tahini Paste
2 tbsp sesame seeds (til)
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp roughly chopped garlic (lehsun)
salt to taste

For Serving With Tahini Dip
pita bread
lavash

Method

For the tahini paste

  1. Roast the sesame seeds in a non-stick tava (griddle) on a medium flame for a few seconds.
  2. Allow it to cool completely, transfer to a bowl and add the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and salt.
  3. Blend to a coarse paste. Keep aside.

How to proceed to make tahini dip

  1. To make {span class="bold1"}tahini dip{/span}, combine the curds and the prepared tahini paste in a bowl and mix well using a whisk.
  2. Serve the {span class="bold1"}tahini dip{/span} chilled with pita bread or lavash.
