A good smoothie made with the right ingredients is nothing short of nectar! Instead of loading the smoothie with ice-cream and other fat-laden ingredients, go for one made of oats and curds, perked up with fruits.
Fibre-rich oats adds volume to the smoothie and gives it a lusciously thick mouth-feel, while curd gives it a creamy, tangy taste. Curd is a probiotic food and aids in digestion too.
Tangy and sweet strawberries, which give the smoothie a vibrant colour and flavour, are loaded with beneficial antioxidants , vitamin C , folic acid and potassium . The Strawberry Oatmeal Curd Smoothie is best had chilled.
Method- Combine all the ingredients in a mixer along with 2 tbsp of water.
- Blend till smooth.
- Refrigerate for atleast 1 hour and serve chilled.
