બીટના ગુલાબી રંગનો આભાસ અને તલનો ચટાકેદાર સ્વાદ આ રંગબેરંગી રોટીની ખાસિયત છે અને ધાણા પાવડર અને લાલ મરચાંનો પાવડર તેની સોડમમાં વધારો કરે છે. બીટ અને તલની રોટી, ટિફિનમાં પૅક કરીને લઇ જવા માટે એક આદર્શ નાસ્તો છે કારણકે તે બનાવતી વખતે રસોડું બહુ ગંદું પણ નથી થતું અને તે સ્વાદિષ્ટ અને પૌષ્ટિક પણ છે.
