  • A feeling of dry mouth
  • The presence of pus or small patches

     

These symptoms make the act of chewing and swallowing food incredibly difficult and uncomfortable, which is why a specialized mouth sores diet is essential for comfort and nutrition.

  • Eat Soft, Cooked Foods: Opt for well-cooked foods like rice, soft vegetables, and pasta. Avoid raw or hard foods that can irritate the sores.
  • Prioritize Easy-to-Swallow Foods: Choose soft, mushy foods that require minimal chewing, such as mashed potatoes, yogurt, or pureed soups.
