Luscious oranges when blended with zesty sweet lime and tangy black grapes make a favourite anytime drink. Serve this Sweet Lime Orange and Black Grape Juice with a hint of black salt for that added zing!



Important part of our daily diet is fluids. When taken in any form, plain water or juices they not only cleanse our body but also nourish it. Orange and sweetlime being juicy citrus fruits work well as diuretics and can be easily fitted into our daily health regime. Dark-skinned grapes are rich in fibre and antioxidants (vitamin A), which fight against degenerative diseases like cancer, ageing etc. Besides tasting being sumptuous, it is a liver and intestinal cleanser too.


A filling salad like Black Bean and Bulgur Wheat Salad and a glass of Rainbow Cocktail will keep you satiated for a long time.

Ingredients

Hopper Method
8 big sweet lime (mosambi) segments (deseeded)
16 big orange segments (deseeded)
1/4 cup black grapes
1 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp black salt (sanchal)
crushed ice for serving

Juicer Method
8 big sweet lime (mosambi) segments (deseeded)
16 big orange segments (deseeded)
1/4 cup black grapes
1 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp black salt (sanchal)
crushed ice for serving
Method

Hopper method

    Hopper method
  1. Add the sweet lime segments, orange segments and black grapes a few at a time in the hopper.
  2. Add the lemon juice and black salt and mix well.
  3. Add some crushed ice in 2 individual glasses and pour equal quantities of the juice over it.
  4. Serve immediately.

Juicer method

    Juicer method
  1. Combine the sweet lime segments, orange segments and black grapes along with ¼ cup of water and blend in a juicer till smooth.
  2. Strain the juice using a strainer.
  3. Add the lemon juice and black salt and mix well.
  4. Add some crushed ice in 2 individual glasses and pour equal quantities of the juice over it.
  5. Serve immediately.

A thick tangy juice with the goodness of vitamin C from juicy sweetlime and orange. Black grapes add their touch of colour while black salt perks up the flavour.
