Tips for minty citrus punch. 1. Choosing the perfect orange is necessary to avoid getting sour juice. So choose oranges that are unblemished and heavy for their size. Avoid those with cuts, soft spots or mould. You should avoid light-weight oranges, which probably lack much of their flesh content and juice. 2. Similarly choose really fresh mint leaves to get a sparkling flavour. Wilting leaves will leave a bad aftertaste. 3. If you don’t have powdered sugar, grind the table sugar in a mixer and sieve it before use.

This is a drink with a very sour taste. So if you like sour drinks then you will love this drink. As there is grapefruit in this recipe, it is tend to be sour. But the mint leaves adds a very pleasant flavour to this. The sugar used balances the sourness in this recipe.
