Do we have to soak samolina for 10 minutes ?? & after removing water can roasting be easy. Await your quick reply. Thanks Regards.

The recipe turned out good But I wanted to ask about the head dal - it was too crunchy - Is that the way it should be ?

Tarla Dalal    Hi Gulnaz, we have added the urad dal.. to give a flavour and crunch in the upma, If you wish you can avoid it..

Upma is very easy and quick to make but what is most imp is the water proportion and this recipe has it perfectly written. I serve this immediately to my family and they relish it.
