Tarla Dalal    Hi Ruksana, We would suggest to not make such a big sponge as the size of the tin and baking temp will vary which is v important

Actually my son wanted vanilla sponge cake for his class party...Earlier I tried recipes from other sites..but never made perfect. But thanks to you this time my cake was perfect..This proportion gives perfect vanilla sponge ??..loved it.

Easy to make and very yummy. I used pineapple essence since I did not have vanilla essence at home. I made pineapple butter icing on the top of this cake which really added more taste to this cake. Tarla, Thanks for sharing such a wonderful recipe. Foodies - Use the exact measurement for ingredients. This cake receipe batter is little thick compared to other recipes.
