Tarla Dalal    Hi, You can add 1/2 cup of castor sugar, whisk it with butter then add the other ingredients.

the base of the cake doesn''t has sugar in it...do we need to add in it

I was searching for this recipe.. for a long time.. as i needed an eggless one.. this recipe is just perfect.. and amazing in taste.. made a big cake also, with this recipe.. It turned out very well.. Thank you for this recipe..
