If I''m not mistaken, quick-cooking rolled oats are low in fibre, hence not good for diabetics. Steel-cut oats are the ones which are high in fibre.

Tarla Dalal    True in comparison to steel cut oats, quick cooking rolled oats are low in fiber. But its a healthier alternative to maida or rice flour. You can use your creativity to make steel cut oats delicacies.

Oats Adai.. this is anytime better than.. regular adai recipe.. it has only oats.. This tastes really good.. and healthy at the same time.. for break fast.
