Combining curd and besan can be harmful for digestion. Can we avoid adding curd or add warmed curd?

Tarla Dalal    Besan in this recipe is a thickening agent. You can replace it with some other flour like jowar flour or rice flour. Alternatively skip the curd and adjust the consistency of the batter with water.
