Can I use wheat bread instead of white bread?

Tarla Dalal    Hi Gayathri, We suggest to use white bread so the colour is better but if you wish you can try and see with whole wheat bread.

I made this rabri 5 times but every time I add bread crumbs to milk it starts to form lumps as such milk is spoiled... I dnt understand what is the mistake so tired of this....😣😣 will appreciate if you help me

Tarla Dalal    Hi Sana, Hope you have fresh bread crumbs and not dried bread crumbs. Please check the recipe of how to make fresh crumbs above.

Was very skeptical about the taste since it was my first time at Rabri and that too instant. But the result amazed me. Absolutely delicious.

I tried it but after refrigerating it is not thick as was supposed to be what to do??

Tarla Dalal    Hi, Ideally it will be little runny. if you want more thicker, try cooking the milk for more time.. and then follow the recipe as it is.

Hi,Tarla mam thanks for this wholesome recipe.I tried it for first time at rakshbandan,post that yesterday for my kitty.Everyone just loved it and was asking for the recipe ☺😍 earlier it usually took around 3 hrs.to make the rabri but by adding breadcrumbs,condensed milk the job was done in around 35 to 40 min.for preparing it for 15-16 people.thanks again
