Can Idry them in an oven on very low heat? I live in a very humid environment.

Hi, I made d papad but it became little thin and it cracked and not only that while frying it did not even become crispy n fluffy. Pls tell me where did i go wrong

Tarla Dalal    HI, yes because you rolled it too thin, it got crack while drying. And make sure you dry really dry till it is very hard.. there should be no moisture.

Tarla Dalal    You can sun dry it but it would taste better if you follow the recipe and the shefl life of these papad would be 30 days!!

HELLO THERE I AM GOING TO TRY THIS IT WILL BE MY FIRST TIME TO MAKE PAPAD - I AM IN WINTER CAN I MAKE IT NOW OR SHOULD I WAIT FOR SUMMER HOW WILL I DRY THESE IN WINTER THANK YOU

Tarla Dalal    Hello, You can make them in winter too. Allow it to dry under the fan for 8-10 hours.

These papad is really quick and easy to make.. these can be made in any season.. i really love this papad .. and i love frying this papad..
