Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 4 bread slices , cut diagonally
- butter for brushing
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup fresh cream
- 4 tbsp cornflour
- 5 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp vanilla essence
- 2 tbsp raisins (kismis)
- 1/4 cup muesli
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
Method
- Combine the milk, fresh cream, cornflour, sugar, vanilla essence and raisins in a deep bowl, mix well and keep aside.
- Apply butter on all the bread slices.
- Arrange the bread slices on a greased microwave safe dish.
- Sprinkle the muesli evenly on top of the bread slices.
- Pour the milk and fresh cream mixture over it.
- Finally, sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over it.
- Microwave on high for 5 minutes. Keep it aside for 10 minutes and serve immediately.

Bread and butter pudding, I have loved the recipe.. so much.. the crunch given to this dish with the muesli is just too good.. the bread soaked in milk mixture giving it a creamy texture.. and a little more sweetness with the brown sugar..
