- Drain well, add the coconut milk and 1 cup of water and blend in a mixer to a smooth mixture.
- Transfer the mixture into a deep bowl, add the carrot, cabbage, cumin seeds, coconut and salt and mix well. Cover with a lid and keep aside to ferment in a warm place for 8 hours.
