Chickoo is a brown colored, round or oval shaped tropical fruit with a rough skin and soft flesh. The flesh ranges from a light brown to dark brown color and is very sweet in taste. The skin of the chickoo is also edible, just pear skin. The have large, black seeds inside which are inedible. Since it is so sweet and soft, it makes a snack AND a dessert by itself.
