Ingredients

For Multigrain Palak Paneer Roti
2 tbsp jowar (white millet) flour
2 tbsp bajra (black millet) flour
4 tbsp finely chopped spinach (palak)
2 tbsp crumbled paneer (cottage cheese)
restricted quantity of salt
jowar (white millet) flour for rolling
2 tsp oil for cooking

  1. To make multigrain palak paneer roti recipe for toddlers and kids, combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and knead into a soft dough using enough water.
  2. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and roll out each portion into a 100 mm. (4") diameter circle using a little jowar flour for rolling.
  3. Heat a non-stick tava (griddle), and cook each roti on a medium flame, using ½ tsp of oil, till golden brown spots appear on both the sides.

    3. Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.
    4. When it is done, remove the peppercorn and clove. Mash the khichdi a little with the back of a spoon.
    5. Serve lukewarm with fresh curds.
