Ingredients
For The Sweet and Sour Dressing
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp freshly crushed black pepper (kalimirch)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- salt to taste
Other Ingredients
- oil for deep-frying
- 1 cup broken hakka noodles
- 1/4 cup finely chopped spring onion greens
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced spring onions whites
- 1 cup iceberg lettuce , torn into small pieces
Method
- Put all the ingredients in a small bottle, close the lid and shake well.
- Store in a cool place.
- Shake again just before use
- Heat the oil in a kadhai and deep-fry the noodles in it till golden brown in colour. Drain on absorbent paper and keep aside.
- Combine all the ingredients including the fried noodles in a mixing bowl, pour the dressing on top and toss well.
- Serve immediately.
