Ingredients
- 1 1/2 kgs fresh tomato
- 3/4 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 tsp red chilli sauce
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp fresh cream
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic (lehsun) (optional)
- salt to taste
Accompaniments
- 1 chopped capsicum
- 1 large chopped onion
- 1 chopped cucumber
- 1 chopped tomato
- 3/4 cup toasted bread croutons
Method
- Put the tomatoes in boiling water for a few minutes.
- Remove the skins.
- Chop and blend in a liquidiser.
- Strain the mixture.
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Chill thoroughly.
- Serve in cold cups with accompaniments in separate cups.
