  1. Peel the cucumber and cut into small pieces. Keep aside.
  2. Chop the spring onion whites and greens. Keep aside.
  3. Combine the chick peas, paneer, cucumber and spring onions in a deep bowl and mix well.
  4. Add the tomato ketchup, chaat masala, coriander and salt and toss well.
  5. Serve immediately.

  1. what is chana chaat recipe made off? chole chaat  is made from cheap and easily available ingredients in India such as : 1 1/2 cups soaked and boiled kabuli chana (white chick peas), 1/2 cup paneer (cottage cheese) cubes, 1/4 cup chopped cucumber, 1/4 cup finely chopped spring onion whites and greens,  1/4 cup chopped coloured capsicum, 1 tsp chaat masala, 2 tablespoons finely chopped coriander (dhania) leaves, 2 tsp finely chopped green chillies,  1 tablespoon tamarind chutney and salt to taste.

  1. To make the chana chaat recipe | chole chaat | chickpea chaat |  wash and soak 1 1/2 cups of kabuli chana overnight in a deep bowl. Note that 3/4 cup kabuli chana will give you 2 cups soaked and cooked kabuli chana. 
  2. In the morning, drain well using a strainer. 
     
  3. Transfer the soaked chana to a pressure cooker. 
  4. Add the salt and XX cups of water. 
  5. Pressure cook it for 4 to 5 whistles over a medium flame or until they are soft. Allow the steam to escape naturally and then carefully open the lid. 
  6. Drain the boiled kabuli chana using a strainer. 
  7. Soaked, cooked and drained kabuli chana.

    1. In a deep bowl put the soaked and cooked kabuli chana.
    2. Add 1/2 cup paneer (cottage cheese) cubes. @s.. increase paneer if required.
    3. Add 1/4 cup chopped cucumber.
    4. Add 1/4 cup finely chopped spring onion whites and greens.
    5. Add 1/4 cup chopped coloured capsicum.
    6. Add 1 tsp chaat masala.
    7. Add 2 tsp finely chopped green chillies.
    8. Add 2 tablespoons finely chopped coriander (dhania) leaves.
    9. Add 1 tablespoon tamarind chutney. (optional ) @s to taste.
    10. Add salt to taste.

    What can I put instead of ketchup if I want to feed a diabetic person?

    This Chaat recipe is a great combo of kabuli chana, paneer, spring onions and tomato ketchup which gives it a great taste and that kids will relish it.
