Ingredients
Main Ingredients
1/2 cup grated carrot
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped spinach (palak)
1/2 cup rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1 1/2 tsp ginger-green chilli paste
1 tsp sugar
salt to taste
oil for deep-frying
For Serving
Method
- Combine all the ingredients and ¼ cup of water in a deep bowl and mix till the mixture binds well.
- Divide the mixture into 20 equal portions and shape each portion into a ball.
- Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan and deep-fry, a few balls at a time till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides. Drain on an absorbent paper.
- Serve immediately with tomato ketchup.
