Orange, a citrus fruit, full of vitamin C. We eat the oranges and throw away the peels. Dried orange peel powdered is also used as a face pack adding a few more items. Then why not make use of it in the form of pickle.I tried the same and it came out very good. So I thought of sharing this recipe with you. It is spicy, a bit sour, a little bitter and also a bit sweetened and of course with its little orange flavor.

I made your recipe today and I like it I was very happy to find it because I have beautiful fresh navel oranges and I have been reading about how good orange oil is for you. I used all the peel because my peels are not bitter. I have one query though. I think the recipe would work easier with a volume amount for the orange peels. I used the peels of 3 oranges and adjusted the vinegar and salt. I added a little more sugar and a little turmeric also. But I''ve never had this. Is it supposed to have a strong sour and salty, sweet taste with everything balanced or does one flavor stand out. Thank You.
